Rebel Wilson born in 1980 in Sydney, New South Wales. She is a famous Australian writer, actor and producer. She studied at the Australian Theatre for Young people, graduated with a degree in Arts (Theatre and Performance Studies) and Law at the University of New South Wales.

After schools, she was based in South Africa as the Australian Youth Ambassador. She contracted malaria while in South Africa.

The disease was characterized by hallucinations where she would see herself as the Oscar-winning actor. This motivated her dream of becoming an actor. She also believed she had a thing with numbers as her first career choice was mathematics.

Her career life after graduation

In 2003, Rebel Wilson won the ATYP International scholarship fully funded by Nicole Kidman. In New York, she trained at the Second City and made her public appearance at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival under the Sydney Theatre Company.

She performed a stage musical she called The Westie Monologues. She later wrote, produced and starred other pieces such as Spunks and Confessions of an Exchange Student.

She is popularly known in Australia for her roles in Pizza, Lucy, Fat Mandi, Karla Bangs, The Wedge, Australian Idol, Fat Pizza and Ghost Rider. She moved to Hollywood and took other roles in films such as Judd Apatow, Bridesmaid, Workaholics, the famous Pitch Perfect and A Few Best Men.

The birthday party at Beverly Hills

On March 2nd 2019, Rebel Wilson turned 39. She held her birthday in style: she took a class in cake making and tried a new exercise she called Cartzercise. The move was inspired by the 2019 film, Cats, that she is expected to star. She and her friends performed in cat costumes as she wore pink armbands and a furry head cover with cat ears.

She posted the videos and photos of the exercise and the self-made cake on Instagram. She urged her fans to practice the activity as it is fun and straightforward.

Rebel Wilson is expected to act as Jennyanydots in the Cats alongside other co-stars including Taylor Swift, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden and Alive Idris Elba. Rebel Wilson is grateful to work alongside Taylor Swift as she will bring the musical vibe in the film. She also thanked Taylor for the sweet gifts she surprised the costars with.
