Rebel Wilson’s Inspiring Transformation Through The Years

We know Rebel Wilson for her characters in movies such as Natalie in her latest movie “Isn’t It Romantic” and as Fat Amy in the “Pitch Perfect” trilogy. Wilson is currently one of the most in-demand comedians in the Holywood right now. But before she earned her success story, Wilson has to face a lot of challenges.

During her younger years, Rebel Wilson was a shy girl in front of others. Wilson grew up with her siblings named Liberty, Ryot, and Annachi. Their parents are professional Beagle-breeders.

She revealed that she was unusually shy around other people to the point that she seemed to be bordering a social disorder. To make her more comfortable with people, her mother sent her to a community acting class. At first, she would hold on to the car door and cry, but the young actress will come out of her shell.

When Rebel Wilson found out that one’s character becomes set in stone at age 15, she did everything to get the best version of herself before that age. During that time, she was socially awkward and is still shy.

Determined to break out of her shell, she joins debate clubs in order to boost her confidence by speaking up more to a wide audience. Her drama teacher also encouraged her to enter Tournament of Minds, which is a creative competition. Because of Wilson’s perseverance and her teacher’s help, she managed to get her iconic confidence at the age of 14.

Rebel Wilson went to an all-girls Christian high school and feels lucky to be able to live her dreams. When she was 17, she was hit by malaria and had a fever-dream where she won an Oscar.

This is where she knew that the career she would pursue would be acting. Deciding this, she attended the University of New South Wales and Australian Theater for Young People to hone her acting skills. Read more: Isn’t Romantic Review and Isn’t Romantic Trailer – Hollywoodreporter

One of Rebel Wilson’s earliest breakout role was when she portrayed the role Toula in the television series “Pizza” in 2003 where she became a recurring cast from season 3 to 5. She then joined Bogan Pride in 2008 where she portrayed Jennie Cragg.

Wilson will then enter Holywood with the movie “Bridesmaids” where she portrayed the character, Brynn. It is at this time where she decided to think about trying a little bit on diet. She was also reported to have had a relationship with filmmaker Mickey Gooch Jr., but they broke up after four months.

Right now, Wilson’s first-ever major movie “Isn’t it Romantic” became a success during the Valentines Day. She also has a lot of upcoming projects this year such as “The Hustle”, “Jojo Rabbit”, and “Cats”. Wilson also collaborated with apparel brand Torrid for her own line of clothes that has a taste of her signature style.
